What the internship is
Equity research summer analysts support analysts who cover a sector of public companies: updating financial models, tracking earnings and news, and helping write the research notes that go to investors.
How recruiting usually works
Research is often recruited alongside a bank's markets programs, with an online application followed by interviews. Expect accounting and valuation questions, and be ready to pitch a stock: what the company does, why the market is wrong about it, and what would change your mind.
